UKCA: The CE mark will become ineffective as of 1 January 2023

Anyone wishing to place products on the market in the UK must then, at the latest, in addition to affixing the UKCA logo, also carry out a conformity assessment in accordance with the applicable UK product legislation and prepare a UKCA declaration of conformity.

As of 1 January 2023, the CE mark will no longer be valid for the United Kingdom (excluding Northern Ireland) as a market approval symbol for products. Only the UKCA logo will then be applicable. Anyone wishing to place products on the market in the UK must then, at the latest, in addition to affixing the UKCA logo, also carry out a conformity assessment in accordance with the applicable UK product legislation and prepare a UKCA declaration of conformity.
