UKCA and CE marking for non-food Products
UKCA marking for non-food products
As of January 1, 2025, the CE mark for the United Kingdom (excluding Northern Ireland) will lose its meaning as a market approval mark for products. Only the UKCA logo will then be valid. Anyone wishing to place products on the market in the United Kingdom must then, at the latest, in addition to affixing the UKCA logo, also carry out a conformity assessment in accordance with the applicable UK product legislation and draw up a UKCA declaration of conformity.
trade-e-bility supports you in carrying out the conformity assessment according to UKCA and in drawing up the declaration of conformity.
CE Marking for non-food products
Many products on the market are marked with "CE". "CE" is a marking about the safety of products according to European law.
The purpose of the CE marking (Conformité Européenne) is to indicate to the consumer that goods within the European Economic Area, comply with the applicable European directives. The internal market directives of the European Union define minimum requirements for the safety and health properties of many products.
With the CE marking of products on the basis of a corresponding conformity assessment procedure, the manufacturer generally confirms that these comply with all directives and minimum requirements applicable to the products.
