New EMC standard for multimedia devices: declaration of conformity ineffective

If you place multimedia equipment such as computers or computer accessories, audio equipment or cameras on the market, please note that on 4 May 2022, the presumption of conformity for EN 55032:2012, the “interference emission standard”, will expire.

trade-e-bility recommends that you check the declaration of conformity or the relevant evidence for all relevant devices to be placed on the market in the EU from May onwards and, if necessary, update it in good time or arrange for retesting to be made in accordance with the new EN 55032:2015 standard.
