On Friday, 13 December 2024, the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) came into force. For months now, sellers have been asked by the major online marketplaces to provide compliance information, such as "GPSR warnings and safety information" (Amazon) or "product safety information" (ebay) for the offer for which there is a risk of refusal. Lawyers also see the GPSR as a further warning risk (trade-e-bility reported: GPSR warning possible).
