Customers of trade-e-bility are increasingly asking about chemical product requirements and REACh. Here you will find important information in a nutshell:
- To date, REACh has often been treated poorly, as compliance is required but the documentation is not formally regulated.
- This is changing due to the requirements in the legislation
- EU Batteries Regulation (BattR) Art. 6 and
- EU Packaging Ordinance (PPWR) Art. 6
These stipulate full or partial compliance with REACh requirements. Both legislations require the issuing of a declaration of conformity and therefore also the documentation of the measures to implement the respective REACh requirements.
- To implement these requirements efficiently, a pollutant management system is recommended that initiates or requests risk-based tests or producer verification.
- trade-e-bility can support the development of such a risk-based management system.
